Please carry a photo Id and proof of the address along with you.
Do carry sufficient light woolens from May to Aug and heavy woolens from Sept to Nov.
Carry good walking shoes: - canvas or sport shoes
If you wish you can carry dry eatables with you like biscuits, snacks and chocolates etc.
Always hire registered pony, Kandi and porter.
Day 01 Dehradun /Haridwar (by flight/Train) Dehradun to Mussoorie-Barkot (200 kms, 07 hrs drive)
Arrival at Dehradun airport/Haridwar railway station and drive to Barkot/Syanachatti, on the way visit Mussoorie. Upon arrival Barkot and transfer to Hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Important places to visit: Mussoorie, Kempty Falls & Lakhamandal*
Day 02 Barkot-Yamunotri return
Drive to Jankichatti then trek 07 kms to reach Yamunotri to visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna, situated on the banks of the river. You can take a holy dip in the nearby tank filled by hot springs and cook rice in its water, the common rituals performed by the devotees. Trace your steps back to Jankichatti. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Important places to visit: Yamunotri Temple, Surya Kund & Divya Shila.
Day 03 Barkot-Uttarkashi (115 kms, 5 Hrs drive):
After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi. Later visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Important places to visit: Vishwanath Temple & Shakti Temple.
Day 04 Uttarkashi-Gangotri-Uttarkashi (100 kms each side, 3 ½ hrs)
After breakfast, we will proceed to Harsil - one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. En-route we will stop at Gangnani for a hot water spring dip. Drive to Gangotri (22 kms/1 hr).
On arrival take a holy dip in the River sacred- The Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and relax in the lovely surroundings. In the afternoon return back to Uttarkashi. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Important places to visit: Harsil, Hot Water Springs at Gangnani, Gangotri Temple
Day 05 Uttarkashi- Sitapur (210 kms/8 hrs)
After early breakfast, we will proceed to Guptakashi. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day06 Sitapur - Gaurikund - Bhimbali - Lencholi -Kedarnath (10 kms by road, 16 kms by trek one way)
After breakfast, we proceed to Sonprayag. After medical checkup we proceed to Gaurikund. Then we begin our trek to Kedarnath. Arrive at Kedarnath ji and transfer to hotel. There are 8-10 small private hotels available and they have neat and clean rooms with attached toilet and bath. They also serve hot water buckets. After freshen up proceed for the Darshan at Kedarnath ji. After Darshan at Kedarnath overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Important places to visit: Gauri Mata Temple in Gaurikund, Kedarnath Temple, Evening aarti, Bharav Baba
Day 07 Kedarnath-Sitapur-Guptkashi:
Trace your steps back and return to Sonprayag. Drive back to Sitapur/Guptkashi. Stay overnight in hotel.
Important places to visit: Trijukinarayan*
Day 08 Guptkashi- Badrinath (200 kms / 8 hrs):
After an early breakfast, we proceed to Badrinath. We halt for some time enroute at Chopta. Chopta is popularly called as the “Switzerland Of India". You can enjoy a splendid view of the snowcapped Himalayan peaks from here. Enjoy the beautiful drive through medicinal forests. When you arrive at Badrinath check into your hotel for overnight stay.
Important places to visit: Guptkashi Temple, Ukhimath Temple, Chopta & Narsing Temple in Joshimath.
Day 09 Badrinath –Rudraprayag: (165 Kms, 6 hrs):
Get up early in the morning and see the beauty of the majestic Neel Khant peak. There is a hot water spring here called as Tapt Kund. The devotees take a holy dip here before taking Darshan of the Badrinath Temple. Have your breakfast and then drive to Mana Village. This is the last village on the Indo-China border. Dep 11:00 then drive to Rudraprayag. Dinner & stay overnight at the hotel
Important places to visit: Sri Badri Vishal Temple, Tapt Kund, Bhrama kapal, Narad Kund, Sheshnetra and Mata Murti Temple.
Important places in Mana Village: Bheem Pul, Ganesh Gufa, Vyas Gufa
On the way sightseeing: Yogdhyan Badri, Vishnuprayag, Shankracharya Mutt in Joshimath, Nandprayag and Karanprayag.
Day 10 Rudraprayag– Rishikesh (140 kms, 06 hrs) / Rishikesh to Dehradun airport / Dehradun to Pune via Delhi (by flight):
After breakfast, we proceed to Rishikesh. Visit to Ramjhulka and Laxmanjhula, Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Transfer to Haridwar or Dehradun airport
Important places to visit: Rudraprayag confluence, DhariDevi Temple, Devprayag confluence, Lakshman Jhula, Ramjhula.
Helicopter fare for Guptkashi-Phata-Kedarnath-Phata (additional): From Phata: Excluding VIP Darshan and valid up to 75 kg of weight per person for same-day or return on the next day.
